This museum is packed with animals, birds, fish and insects..
Taxidermy, skeletons, skins and preserved specimens and models are all on show making this a big favourite with the kids and adults alike. The Cruickshank Botanic Garden is also accessible to the rear, a beautiful and peaceful spot with over 2,500 plants, this is well worth a wander.
The Museum is in Old Aberdeen, accessible in 20 minutes from the city centre via public transport. Car parking onsite is restricted to the university staff, but there is nearby pay-and-display street parking. The museum is free.

The Museum is in Old Aberdeen, accessible in 20 minutes from the city centre via public transport. In fact bus 20 runs from Bridge Street (just next to the hotel). Alight at Wrights and Coopers Place and the Museum is a 4 minute walk away.
